The SEC, sans a couple of teams, really sucks this year. Alabama just got their asses handed to them by VCU.

It's called parity. VCU is actually a really good team. They may be ranked soon. They have 3 losses so far, and two of them are to Louisville and Mizzou - and they gave us a game. Plus you played them in their house. There's no shame in losing to a team that makes the tournament regularly.

There is much more parity in basketball than in football. That said, I think the SEC should be a stronger basketball league than it is.

With all of the coaching changes, shitty recruiting classes and the traditional dumpsterfires that exist in this league?

Honestly semo, other than this year we've been fairly good overall this past decade. Obviously there's UK which needs no explaining. UF and UT have also been very, very good. Bama has had a run or 2, LSU had one fantastic year in 2006, Arkansas and MSU have been ok here and there, and hell even UGA made the tournament.

Also, and I'm not meaning to go on a tangent here, I truly belive UGA's 2003 team could've been a final 4 team. We were fricking loaded and I really honestly think we were one of the best teams in the country. Unfortunately, that was when the Harrick shite was going down and Michael Adams's pussy bitch arse decided to self impose a postseason ban.....in probably the 2nd best season in UGA basketball history.
