Sumlin: RBs coach McKinney will call plays in Cotton

Sumlin said Wednesday that running backs coach Clarence McKinney will call the offense against the Sooners, although it will be a collaborative effort in place of Kingsbury, the new Texas Tech head coach.
McKinney is a former Yates head coach (and Yates graduate) who’s been with Sumlin since 2008, Sumlin’s first year with the Houston Cougars. In addition, A&M receivers coach David Beaty will work with the quarterbacks, Sumlin said on a teleconference with OU coach Bob Stoops this morning.
