In fact, Notre Dame didn't win those games against Pitt and Stanford as much as the refs gave it to them. Literally.

This important intangible doesn't get built in the process of demolishing the likes of the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers, Florida Atlantic Owls or Western Carolina Catamounts (who were beaten more like catamites 49-0 by the mighty 'Bama).

Alabama destroys the teams they are supposed to destroy. Notre dame needs the waning seconds of games and blatant no-calls to beat the teams they are supposed to destroy.

this right here x100.

also when the irish troll claimed ND players have more "character" than bama's, it became clear to me that he knows basically nothing about the players on the team.

once someone starts out trying to make a case for poorly understood intangibles as a major factor that will carry their team to victory, and subsequently detouring to criticize an entire conference for factors that have little relevance (scheduling? really? is scheduling why SEC teams played and BEAT ohio state, oregon, and texas?), well, that stinks of desperation.

that stinks of fear.

the bubble of ignorance has taken you very high, little leprechaun. good luck surviving the fall when it likely pops.
