If your state didn't secede then it isn't the south.

Do really have to do that every thread? You might as well not saying anything.
Every thread for some Aggies on here="JFF or Sumlin".
Les Miles is not the best recruiter on LSU's staff, I give that nod to Frank Wilson who does the real work building relationships. Les just gets to be the face of that.

David Beaty, WR Coach, Texas A&M. Singlehandedly pushed OU and Texas out of DFW in his first year.

Crazy too, I hate when the HC gets all the credit, when its always the assistants doing the real work.
And thats not true that Texas and OU got pushed out DFW. The #1 DT in Texas (According the rivals, scout, and 247) and #3 player in Texas too named A'Shawn Robinson is from Ft. Worth, 4 Star WR Jake Oliver from Dallas, TX, 6.0-4 Star OL Kent Perkins from Dallas, 4 Star QB Tyrone Swoopes is from surrounding Dallas area as well.
OU has 2 commits from the DFW area, both top players, QB Cody Thomas is #7 QB in the nation according to rivals, and the #28 LB from Dallas Jesuit, the LB is a guy who did have an A&M offer.
According to the rivals Texas top 100 here
Texas got the top 3 guys in the DFW area and Baylor got the 4th.
2 of the top 4 RB's in Texas are from DFW area and are committed to Oregon and TCU as well, the other 2 committed to OU and Nebraska.

Less than an hour to Richardson, I consider that basically Dallas area because DFW is so big.
You also have JT Barrett who is from Wichita Falls, TX (1 hour and 40 minutes from Denton) on this list.
Not sure how Barrett is considered in the DFW area but Swoopes is not.

Check your maps good sir.

And Mike Mitchell looks like a probable Ohio St. commit fwiw. Maybe A&M has heard differently.
Also, Cody Thomas isn't even on your list and he's the #7 QB according to rivals and #10 according to Scout. He should be ranked right behind Kenny Hill.
Add Swoopes to your list as well at #2. So A&M is shut out of the top 5 in a single city.

If you truly think the QB on a 1-9 2A school is top 5 material...
