I agree somewhat with the sentiment that we don't want players who aren't committed to Auburn. But It sure will suck when we have a team full of players that want to be at Auburn who get raped by LSU, Georgia, and Bama on a regular basis.

In the 4-2-5, we'll get good use out of Cass and Frost. It's better to hire coaches who can coach, not worry about recruits.

Best of luck to the kid. If his loyalty was to Trooper then that's a problem. In fact that may be why Trooper needed to go. It just felt like some players looked to him instead of Chizik. It always rubbed me the wrong way when Chizik would dog a guy out and then Trooper would come over and pat them on the back so to speak.

FWIW I think he will still sign. I think this was an attempt to manipulate Gus to keep his buddy. Because grown ups are not smarter than a 17 yr old sports star.

Oh well and that will mean others will follow. However, if anyone didn't think we would lose top recruits than they are smoking good weed. Bummer but expected.

Dee Liner was always going to decommit. He's had a hard on for Bama going and that is where he will end up and always was.
