The first gif in the thread made me think it was an illegal and dirty hit.
The second angle it just seems a touch on the dirty side but not illegal.
Full disclosure: I hate Saban and the terrible portion of the Gump Kingdom.

For me, I think it is an absolutely perfect example of a good stiff block. I hope we lay more like it 1/7/13.

If Murray would have been JFF, he would have ran HCD down and tackled him. Murray was trying to do the same thing. Are players not allowed to block a guy trying to make a tackle?
