Keep banging your head. Once again, Augusta National = more attractive.

LSU's talent has been unreal the past 10 years. I think Miles has lucked out tremendously with the talent at LSU. Its much easier to win when you have the horses.
The thing is though why can't Georgia do the same? They've had tons of talent and even this years class the top 5 kids are pretty much from Georgia. What gives?

CLM@LSU > CNS@LSU
Stop bandwagoning LSU's success or I'm going to start claming 2 more CC's and 2 more NC's dammit.

to this whole thread. What if Saban decided to stick it out with the big boys? UA still doing a slow waltz with NCAA? CMR not having to go back home right now to face a bunch of idiot questions.

What if Brees had passed his physical in Miami?
Saban doesn't leave...
Bama doesn't become a dynasty...
Saints don't win the Super Bowl...
Down the rabbit hole we go...

lol, you're still on this point? It's an opinion, not a fact. When it's all said and done, Miles will be LSU's greatest coach.

Genro: LSU's greatest coach is debatable. You can't count his accomplishments at Bama in the LSU conversation. Nationally yes, LSU specific no. So in that case he is one of 3 coaches with a national championship at LSU. He doesn't have the most wins even if you compare first 5 years. I think we can only say is one of the greatest coaches at LSU.
I like posting at this time of day. More rational people here or maybe less loudmouth idiots.

Already is based on accomplishment. By the time contract is up it will be a gulf between CLM and whoever is 2nd (Chollie Mac, Saban, Dietzel...whoever it is).

To his credit, Miles has continued that and thrived under a system that Saban built and put in place. Miles is a great coach. But what Saban did at LSU is comparable to what Spurrier did at UF and SCar.

Okay but what about Dietzel. He arguably did what Saban did in the 1950's. Then Charlie Mac became the winningest coach and cemented LSU as a viable destination that Saban would consider.
Whether you are suggesting it or not, it is obvious that nationally fans consider Saban's performance at Bama in the consideration of him being the greatest LSU coach.
Now, it is another conversation to say he is the greatest coach to ever coach at LSU. I might be able to agree with you there.
