Well while i'm not as connected as you i do have a connection to jimbo and he's not coming, has said so from the get go. So i wouldn't read too much into jimbo not coming to auburn.

Bigger issue that most aren't really linking this with is the NCAA letter to the former Miami players..
Either the NCAA is going to get the answers that they want from all the former Auburn players the last 5 or so years or they are going go run with the assumption that Auburn is guilty and the accusations against a player is legit.
The NCAA is trying to make it so you can't hide behind graduation. If you love your school, you talk and try to lessen the penalties. If you are a legit mercenary then the NCAA is going to light your school up anyways. This allows the NCAA to go after the coaches and boosters by having direct info from the players not suppositions. Allows for show cause for extended periods of time and disassociation of boosters.
