AK is a few too low. He has a solid résumé and just needs to break into the tourney to be a top half of the conference coach.

Until he actually makes the NCAAT, I can't bump him any higher. Coaches above him have multiple NCAAT appearances in their resume.

the point of this thread was clear.

I'm aware of Cuonzo, you have to take into account age and time as head coach.
AK has been at a somewhat major program for 5 years and has no NCAAT appearances.
There is no chance in hell Tennessee does not make the NCAAT this year.

That's fair imo.

Move Grant to #4 and push the rest down a peg... This has to include actual SEC accomplishments... He won the last West championship made it to the NIT Finals and then NCAAs last year...

Lord no.

I can understand Cuonzo Martin being lower on the list because he doesn't have the resume of some of those other guys. However, there's no really doubt in my mind he'll prove himself.

Agreed, unless Maymon's injury is a lot worse than people have thought.

Care to say why or are you just assuming something... AG is a very good coach. There's little doubt about that.

Should be lower.
Bundy it can't be that bad is it? Y'all usually sport a good team?

Remains to be seen still just how good, and the coaches ahead of him have better resumes.
Who would you put him over? Cuonzo at the most, but most people feel Cuonzo is a very good coach and has UT higher than Bama in just his 2nd year, granted preseason ranks/predictions but that's all we have right now.
Ahead of Frank Martin? No way. Anderson? Not a chance. Stallings? He's done too well at Vandy to drop him lower.
I like Grant personally, I just can't put him higher than the good coaches ahead of him, only Cuonzo could I see being switched right now.
