Why, did MSU have to insert themselves into a thread that didn't have shite to do with them? To try and beat their chests about that? Hmmm? That thread didn't have jackshit to do with you people. I hope Starkville turns into Jonestown 2.0 after the Egg Bowl. frick you.

Sorry, I couldn't watch it. I didn't watch the one about AU/UAt because I knew they would make us look like backwood tards, and I figured they would do the same to Ole Miss.

This one wasn't bad. The RT/WE doc was the worst thing I have ever seen.

So Henry Jones is a KA?

Claire Kett went to Ole Miss after Maderia?

Do you insult people on here so much, because you know if you did it in person you would get your 145lb arse stomped? Honest question.

No, I do it in real life too. Also, way to go ad hominem. Nothing like making it personal when you lose.

I like how on the Ole Miss board you said you would be go to the Egg Bowl meet up if everyone agreed to punch Bundy in the face. I had a legit when I read that.

eta: I would pay to see all 5'8 145lb of you vs all 6'5 280lb of him.

Serious question. Does Ole Miss claim that season as National Champions. I thought they had a national title back in that era. I was thinking they won it that year until Lou Holtz spoiled it for me.

1960 is the year most people recognize us as national champions. It's usually either us or Minnesota. If the national championship had been determined after bowl games then we would have had 3 national championships in 4 years.

Well since Alabama can only claim major poll titles (AP/UPI/Coaches/BCS titles), then Ole Miss can't claim 1959, 1960, or 1962. Or is it just different for different arguments?

I knew Ole Miss had some good teams back then. I was wondering what year they claimed the National Title.

The university and the vast majority of fans recognize '59, '60 and '62.

I usually just say 1960.

I thought it was good,I was apprehensive but it was projected in a different way than I originally thought. My daughter(11) watched it with me and asked "Daddy why were they fighting?" She was furious that people acted that way towards each other because of race. Made her dad proud.

Arguments over title claims aside, the current run of national titles for SEC programs isn't new. From 1957-1965, Alabama, Auburn, LSU, and Ole Miss all claimed/were named national champions.
