There are far more advantages at LSU than there are at Oklahoma State. What advantages does Auburn have over FSU?

Ummm, FSU hired him as an OC, not a HC.

If you think AU is gonna throw 4 mill a year at him and he is just gonna pack his bags, I don't know what else to say.

FSU fans are already starting to turn on him after the loss to NC State. Don't think that will have him considering if he wants to stay in Tallahassee?

As you might expect, Florida State fans are up in arms about Fisher. One of the biggest FSU fans I know -- Bobby Lory -- sent me this email after the game. Lory, for background, is the same fan who warned me before the season not to drink the FSU Kool-Aid.

"Get ready for the boo-birds calling for Coach Jimbo's head on a plate," Lory wrote Sunday. "Seriously, there's merit for this angry mob mentality. While it's true Jimbo has been the head coach for only 2 1/2 years, this really is HIS team. HE recruited all of these studs and stallions and has brought them up through HIS system. There's verrrrry little, if any, influence from the Bobby Bowden era with this squad.

"With the exceptional talent he has on this team, it should be a foregone conclusion that FSU would not only win the ACC this year but they would dominate it. And yet, Florida State loses to a 3-2 conference team whose victories up until now were UConn, South Alabama and the Citadel . I guess we'll have to see how the rest of the season pans out for Coach Fisher and the 'Noles, but for comparative purposes Urban Liar brought home the crystal football in his second year at UF and Nick Saban snagged it in his third year at 'Bama. All I'm saying is maybe, just maybe, Jimbo isn't all that we had hoped he'd be.

I can't believe that Auburn isn't going to give him 1 more year after winning an NC.

What must be done inevitably...should be done immediately.

It's a shame. No one WANTS to go through this change. But, AU is too good of a program to have to stick with Chizik.

Not even close.

He was lil sister to OU at OSU kinda like Fisher would be lil sister to Bama. No one wants to be lil sister. LSU is the big brother here, easy decision for miles.

Just make Pat Dye head coach, he runs the program anyway.

Lets take a look at FSU vs Auburn as of late.

Since he has been HC at FSU, they have had a top 10 recruiting class each year. He is in one of the most fertile recruiting grounds in the country (florida). And plays weaker opponents each week, and has a chance of winning the ACC this year.

Auburn has won a NC. But that same coach who won in in 2010, is already getting ready to be fired. Has to compete with Bama for all in state recruits. And would have to compete in the SEC, which is the toughest conference to play in.

The only way I can see him wanting to go to Auburn is if Auburn can pay a lot better than FSU can, and he likes the challenge. But if he fails at Auburn, he would have to start at rock bottom again.

Les came in in 2005. Since 1999 (when Saban took over) the West had won the SECCG four times and two of those were LSU. So, my guess is it probably wouldn't be the same reason

Exact reason why he will stay put.
He has it easy over there. Why take the challenge of getting your arse kicked every week when you don't have to.

Because coaches are competitive and they like to prove themselves as best of the best. believe it or not but most coaches dont just like to sit back with their feet up
