Maybe so. Do you guys really think this game is going to be a shootout? Do you guys know how to grind out yards and be physical? Serious question

We've had some long sustained drives that have resulted in TDs... absolutely.

But there is always a deep threat, and this offense is always looking for the big play. If you really don't think any offense at the collegiate level doesn't have the ability to grind it out, you're insane. Our running backs can run, our receivers can catch, our offensive line can block. It is more about playing to our strengths, exploiting the matchups we want, etc.

To try and boil down the point you want to make to "grind it out and be physical" is so cliche-skip bayless-esque, it isn't even funny. If you were intelligent you would ask, can your offensive line when zone blocking pickup on stunts and twists? Is your draw game effective? Do you do any combination pass quick read screen/draw plays? Do you have any deep threats other than Evans? Etc. You're obviously a LSU homer, which is cool. But please. The Rant isn't the place for your "serious questions".

Our offensive line owned clowney last night. We held Lattimore, arguably the best back in the country to 35 yards. y'all fricked.

I seem to have struck a nerve with my question and I apologize. But I don't know what was so unintelligent about my question. To make things easier, can you guys run the ball and respond to 3 and outs offensively? Do you have a legitimate run defense that can handle long drives of pounding the football and quick passes to the flats? And last, do you guys have a weapon on special teams that can put our backs against the walls and force us to drive the length of the field?
