Rod Dowhower. In two seasons he beat La Tech, Kentucky, UAB and North Texas. At least with Woody you never knew when he was going to blitz 11 so you had to stay on your toes.

John Smith (...nucking futz)
Brad Scott (tried to destroy USC from the inside, closet Tater)
Derek Dooley (Really bad product for what it used to be)
Ed Orgeron (didn't he only win 10 games in 3 years?)
Jennings Bryan Whitworth (probably the biggest b/c of what he had to work with at that program)

Charlie Pell at Florida would fall in the top 10.

Historically, ol' Ears wins it hands down.

But the all-time worst in the modern era is the only one with an .000 winning percentage as an SEC head coach (excluding interims, that is).

Bill Battle.

I doubt Dooley is given enough time to challenge that.

Ears wins all time but in the modern era it is just 2

#1 Lane Kiffen - What coach stays at a good SEC school for 1 year

#2 Bill Curry - Setting a low bar at Kentucky takes real effort
