Sentimore is a fricking beast. he'd be starting at Bama right now.

Sentimore is a solid player.
McCullers, Couch, and Sentimore...the most talent we've had across the DL in a long time.

the fact that he played regularly as a true freshman at Bama speaks volumes about his talent. Just needs to keep his head down, and stay out of trouble.
It's very clear he's a full on goon, probably the biggest one on the roster.

Should have learned from Mizzou. Don't talk shite /provide bulletin board material until you've actually beaten someone worth note.
Posted on 9/11/12 at 10:56 am to geauxtigersfromcali
I can't stand that shite...

I have no problem at all with what he said.
quote:
“I think people want to wait and see how we do against Florida. But I’m here to tell them that we’re going to beat them.”
“I still think people want to see us win some more games so they can say Tennessee’s back, you know? I don’t have a problem with that. We’ve got to prove them wrong. We’ve to create an identity so they’ll say, ‘Yeah, they’re back. That’s the Tennessee we know.”

yah, it's not bad at all.
And he's answering a direct question from a journalist. He didn't go out of his way to disparage the gators.

There's nothing wrong with what he said. It'll be locker room material but there's always some of that. I just wish kids were better with the media. IF we win ,he kind of looks just a tad silly with his guarantee. Nothing to get worked up over in any way, shape or form though.
I would prefer that we don't provide any locker room material. So far so good. I'm sure it won't last though.

and the fact that Saban booted his talented arse is pretty telling too.

Spurrier, Alex Brown, and a host of several others provided bulletin board material for years and it didn't matter. If someone needs a quote to get jacked up for this game, something is wrong.

Vols don't care anymore about that kind of thing. They just want to win. Sort the other stuff out later.

agreed to an extent.
It was a character issue at Bama, definitely not talent.
any honest Bama fan will agree.

To say he would start at Alabama right now is a debatable. While I agree he is and was good, he wouldn't beat out Square, and he would have to compete against Stinson and Pagan who are basically co-starters for the other DE, Dial plays behind Square and gets a lot of PT a starter would. Pettway and Fanning are 3rd in line and they would start and play at most schools

I'm talking about this year. We are still rebuilding. No need to provide additional fire for the other team. Nau meen?
