In a word...OUTSTANDING.

Thanks Aggies for making me and mine feel so welcome and offering up a great time. We had one of the best away game weekends ever. A&M fans and C/S residents are some of the friendliest people we have ever met.

Only negative, sec. 500 seats. Good lord!

haha same here, we were in 522.
And yeah A&M fans are the friendliest I've ever been around.

I definitely had a Ranter behind me. After they won he was yelling about real championships they'd won and other Internet message board smack.

I gave him my 12th Man towel as a memento of Kyle Field. I told him it must've been luckier for UF than for A&M. Hopefully next time he comes back he'll leave the silly rant smack at the house

They started the "on the field" thing less than 10 years ago, before that it was actually guarded like Ft Knox. A&M has never had its field goal posts torn down in spite of some monster victories at home over the years.
Geeze and to think y'all pulled a sword on an SMU cheerleader for trying to do flips on your sacred turf. Things have definitely improved.

Actually that was because they pushed the guy down and I believe he was expelled. I was an Officer of the Day (the guys on the field with the sabres) and it was made clear that expulsion was mandatory if that sabre came out of its scabbard.

They shouldn't have to tell OD's that. I mean, I'd rather beat somebody over the head with the scabbard than try to use that skinny ceremonial saber as a weapon

Want to get rid of the bats? When we (LSU) comes just tell all the coonasses that they make a great étouffée but the hunting season is closed. They'll kill everyone of them little sumbitches!!!

I'm looking forward to visiting Gainesville...hopefully next year. I have a house in the panhandle and have a friend that played for you guys back in the early Spurrier days...I'll be going with him...I'm guessing those tickets will be better than the ones you got at Kyle. They don't give the visiting team very good tix

Pot.kettle.black.

Our fans travel well. That they are not received well at some places, Florida among them, is not so much their fault as it is their "hosts". I can't stand your campus police department, and that is a sentiment shared by many of my fellow LSU fans.

Campus police at UF does suck. You can walk around with a beer at TAMU. Don't do it at UF.
Ask football players about traffic violations and invalid DLs...

My main beef with them is they will bust visiting fans for the same thing UF fans routinely get away with. I've never had the feeling at any other campus that the campus PD was just waiting for someone react to their BS so they could bust them.

Edit: sorry for the hijack. I'm looking forward to visiting Aggieland.

A&M is as lax as they come in regards to drinking. We are a wet campus like LSU.

LSU weekend is going to be on another planet. If you thought campus was slammed packed starting at sunrise this past week, LSU weekend is going to be a fun treat.
