Agree with most of this EXCEPT the not losing again. IMO, ULM was hitting on all cylinders while our "D" looked and played tired. Conditioning? Mayhaps.....

I don't think we do. Assuming Wilson comes back 1st half and we are without him again in the 2nd. If you take average time of possession for each side to have the ball, we win that game. Paul let his ego beat him, plain and simple. We had a 28-7 lead with less than 2 qtrs to play. It took ULM to the last 50 secs to tie that game up. You run the ball 3 maybe 4 more times and the game is over. Paul wouldn't accept that though. If we had a 28-7 lead on any SEC team and that's what we would have done. He had to try to beat ULM by atleast 30 and it cost us the game.

Anyone remember the 2008 season when we had BP in for the first year? ULM was our 2nd game of the season and we barely beat them (28-27) in Little Rock. The other times we played them we blew them out. With that being said, in both games they played us during a transitional period where we had new coaches. Personally I think any cupcake could have beaten us the way we looked on Saturday, that and we played them (both 2008 and this year)when all the dust left behind from the off-season hadn't settled yet.

* In 2008 we went 5-7, let's hope that doesn't happen this year.
