Our defense is really really really bad this year. If the Okie State game last year was any indicator, we won't really have a home field advantage in early September for a 2:30 game.

Are you really comparing OSU's offense to UF's offense?

Absolutely not. I'm just using last years game as an example of how the 12th Man is not anywhere near as intimidating and awe inspiring when it is early September for a 2:30 game.

Compounded on top of that, as a completely separate point, our defense is incredibly bad. I don't think Snyder is a good defensive coordinator. Maybe against more prototype SEC offenses, we will have a better identity, but our schemes look underwhelming. Sumlin should have kept DeRuyter.

As another completely separate point, I think Johnny Football struggles mightily. He might be great one day, but I haven't seen anything from him that doesn't worry me.

Regardless, I will be there. Got my over priced tickets, a new gameday polo, and an unquenchable thirst for beer and Florida women.
