- It's also worth pointing out that over their college career there is a big discrepancy for carries per game. Basing your arguments on only a few games is faulty.

Didn't you say something about Lattimore having 40 carries a game??
Yeah that was ONCE. He has only had 10 games of 20 or more carries. He will not get near that this year. He isn't being run into the ground like some of you say he is. He wasn't even carrying the ball when he tore the ACL. It was a freak injury that could've happened to anyone.

That is why I remembered it differently. Latt got rolled up from behind/side didn't he.

Wasn't blocking on the edge or something on a trick play? I think this is what I remembered as a "blowout"..it wasnt a blowout, it was just a play that he shouldn't have been involved in. I swear I remember something funky about the play...was it Latt lined up as WR?

He had three games in only 1.5 yrs with 37 or more carries and also had 8 receptions in those three games.

Hope not, I like to see him do well.

Yes he was. This same discussion happened on here before the injury, I stated the case then. Don't want to rehash all of it now. I said then(preinjury) that as his father I would have a talk with Spurrier.

The cumulative beating his body has taken absolutely has an affect. There is a reason RBs don't last long. It's not because they carried the ball 35 times one game, it's because of the beating they take over time. Many RBs get injuries when not carrying the ball.
