I thought Driskell was an AU fan growing up. At least I remember seeing that somewhere before.

Will we take another QB besides Johnson in this class and who will it be?

I think Jason Smith has been promised a look at quarterback first and that is all the quarterbacks we are taking. If we end up getting serious about a JUCO guy or another freshman, I would expect JJ to look elsewhere. I think the coaches are really high on this Park kid in '14.

I thought all the count back shite was done away with now. Last I heard from BM was that JaQuay was on schedule to enroll in the spring because he only had to take one class, that was why he just ran up to the prep school. This probably actually really is the best thing for the team and for JW himself. He will come in with one or two more receivers with a big need at receiver and the race will be completely open unless someone really steps up before the end of the year.

You can still count back as long as that class doesn't have 25 in it. You used to be able to count back as long as it didn't put you over the 85 limit.

I thought it has been counting back to shape up the previous class to 25 enrolled for at least 4 or 5 years? i thought they just changed a bunch of stuff that was supposed to take effect this year.

Driskell wanted to go to UF. We then took KF.

It is. However many under 25 the previous class was is how many you can back count in this one, barring it doesn't put you over the 85 limit and I think there are ways around that even.

We REALLY need to get this get early. He is an absolutely perfect fit for a rush LB in a 3-4, but could show a lot of versatility in a 4-3 playing DE and at times a stand up LB

He's shown his versatility playing in that AHS defense. I like him more as a stand-up pass rusher but he can put his hand in the dirt and get physical if you need him to which is impressive.

This isn't true.

The 25 limit on backcounting has always been in effect. The 2 differences now are that NQs still count into the 25 limit, where they didn't before. The other difference now is, in order to back-count to a previous class, you have to be an EE.

BTW, Green's official visit to Michigan is scheduled for October 19. Below is what Rivals said 09/23/2012 in recruiting report.

Mike Farrell, National: "Right now it appears to be Auburn and Michigan for Derrick Green but Tennessee jumped way into the mix this weekend. "

Another Auburn update from Volnation. However, the Vols are pretty adamant that they lead and that his visit during the Florida game (where they had a complete meltdown) really put them out front

Also saw posted that M. Adams will be at UF this weekend

Jeremy Johnson said Ole Miss, Arkansas State and Missouri are recruiting him hard right now, saying Ole Miss is after him extremely hard.

Per Hoke.

Why'd you leave out that he is very firm to AU and said "I'm sticking with Auburn"? Don't go all d&g on me
