BCS is set up to bring in shittons of money is what it is set up to do. Which it did not do last year cause no one watched due to the fact they knew OSU got robbed.
We started bitching about the BCS looooooooooong time before last season that there needed to be a better way, and we are getting it.
We got our way. LSU deserved to be in the championship game. OSU deserved to be in the Championship game also but got the wood screws put to em. OSU didn't beat LSU, LSU did beat bama. Bama got a do over because so many voters and pollsters got their ego's bruised when they were wrong about the first meeting.
OSU was told that one of their own (in the sports department) died, before playing the game.
What was Bama's excuse.

Please tell me you aren't using to different leagues with TWO TOTALLY DIFFERENT WAYS OF CROWNING A CHAMPION. it's dumb for the SEC champ to have to beat a team twice for the national title and said team to have to win once for the national title, while neither game is played at the SEC CHAMP's stadium.

You logic started out pretty good here. But you didn't list all of the teams in the equation.
- OSU didn't beat LSU (correct. To be more accurate, it should be pointed out that they didn't play)
- LSU beat bama (correct. was a close game that went into overtime)
- ISU beat OSU (You forgot to list this one?)
Not sure if excuse?... but I think the reason has to do with Iowa State being a 6-7 team and the fact that LSU was ranked number 1 with no losses.

ACTUALLY, I've seen him post a lot on this site, and he usually does have a Tennessee logo by his name. Glad you could point that out for everyone though...

So a loss in OT is so bad it erases beating 5 ranked teams while bAma only beat 3 teams with WINNING RECORD? Never once has who you lost too counted more than who you beat. Of it did Michigan would've played for the title in 06 because they lost to Ohio State by 3 points and Floroda lost to Auburn. Lat year was an outlier and no one out side of Bama and the Espn wanted to see it. Hence te worst NCSCG rating in 14 years.

Except our resume was better than Michigan's in 06. 12-1 > 11-1.
