VC, that is some very interesting info there but I would like to recognize one correction if I could. Arkansas beat Texas in the 2000 Cotton Bowl and they were ranked around 15th at the time so that puts our head to head record against them at 2 - 2 over the time period you are referencing.

Also it puts our record at .500 vs the top 25 if your other data is accurate. That's not too bad for that period in our history which includes some of our worse seasons since the 50's.

The LSU record is very impressive. You've done a good job of showing how much more success LSU has had than Arkansas the last 12 years.

It must be very aggrevating to you that LSU's success against other schools does not translate into victories against Arkansas. In fact, you may not be aware of this, but as crazy as it sounds,Arkansas has acutally beaten LSU 3 out of the last 5 times we've played. A shanked field goal in O/T kept it from being 4 out of 5.

How do you explain that?

nice try. you actually lost the bowl game in 2000 (shocker) to UNLV.

I explain it like this, Ole Miss beat LSU two years in a row in 2008 and 2009.....and it got them the same that it has gotten arkansas by winning 3 out of 5.....zero SEC and National championships...and zero BCS Bowl wins. Also, I'll take 6 out of 9 and 12 out of 18 every day of the week. You do realize that arky was completely outclassed this past year, and LSU will be even better this coming year. Good luck on stopping LSU from going 7 out of 10 and 13 out of 19.
