Only player that was ever so good he helped his team lose a conference title. If he was half a second slower and not as beastly off the line Colt would have run out of time rather than throwing the ball away early.

This. He took Va Tech to the national title game ,by himself, as a true freshman.
Has that ever happened before? A true freshman qb, being unstoppable.

IMO, Bo Jackson was the 3rd best running back to ever strap up during a college football season, behind Barry Sanders and Herschel Walker (I hope I spelled his name right). Now, anyone claiming Bo Jackson as the best running back ever needs to take off the orange and blue glasses. That just wasn't the case. He could've been considered even more legendary had he not been injured nearly an entire year, but shite happens.

I'd say Bo is fourth. Behind Barry, Herschel, Jim Brown and then Bo.
Also there have been numerous rb with better numbers than BO.

Toby Gerhart had a future first pick playing QB in front of him, as well as future first round offensive linemen blocking for him, playing in a weakened Pac-10. There is no way he was better than Ingram.

Trent Richardson was definitely snubbed.

Ingram had 5 games with less than 100 yrds (RB standard) rushing the year he won it. Has there ever been a Heisman RB Winner with a stat like that ?

Did you not see what he did to us and Texas?

For me, it's

1. Troy Davis - Iowa State and
2. Manning

DM5 is up there but slightly less than the above.

I suppose you thought Toby should have gotten it too. Nevermind the fact that:

Toby 354 offensive touches 1928 yds = 5.44 yards per touch

Ingram 303 offensive touches 1992 yds = 6.57 yards per touch

Ingram had to share the backfield too, as others accounted for 13 TD's, while Toby got to be the one to punch it in and other rb's in their backfield only acounted for 8 TD's.

Ingram, less touches, more yards, higher yard per touch. More versatile, faced tougher defenses, didn't have a futre #1 pick tossing the ball and probably = Olines, if not better at the time at Stanford.

You realize Bo didn't break 80 yards in 3 games he played in his Heisman yr, and didn't even score a TD in 3 of them either, right?

Also, that Big 12 Champ Game agains Texas was one of the most dominating performances EVER in a single game. Suh was crazy that game.

Ndamukong Suh was the best defensive player in all of college football over the last decade. Offense and defense are equal, but offense is more flashy so it gets more attention. You can debate who the best offensive player was over the last 20 years, there are probably 35 you could make a decent case for... but really... Ndamukong Suh. Not even debatable.

What's even crazier I that Suh faced double teams almost all of the game. He was unstoppable.

I know. If anyone got screwed, it was Suh. That Heisman vote told me that a Def player would never win it again. Suh had the most dominate season , in the last 20-30 years, and was snubbed.
