Nothing like the facts to screw up a good argument; from the 2011 LSU SID FB notes pacakge:

LSU’s The Winningest Program In SEC Over Last 10 Years
LSU is the winningest program in the SEC since the start of the 2002 season as the Tigers have posted a 104-26 mark
during that span. The 104 victories for LSU are six better than Georgia. The following is a look at how the SEC stakes up
over the past 10 years:
Team W-L Bowls SEC Titles Top 25
LSU 104-26 9 2 7
Georgia 98-32 9 2 7
Florida 94-36 9 2 6
Auburn 93-35 8 2 6
Alabama 90-39 7 1 5
Arkansas 78-48 6 0 2
Tennessee 75-52 7 0 4
South Carolina 70-54 5 0 1
Ole Miss 55-67 4 0 3
Kentucky 57-66 5 0 0
Miss. State 46-74 2 0 1
Vanderbilt 37-82 1 0 0

I'd imagine that since this thread has made it to 13 pages that it is filled with pissing matches, whining, flaming and homerism. Hell the guy who started this thread is a shitty flamer anyway. Not gonna sift through this whole shitty thread.
That being said, it may have already been said but idgaf I'll stick with homerism here and pick based on undefeated seasons.

1. Auburn

B)And then Bama beat a bad Auburn team the last game of the year,

One of these is not like the other......

Auburn was a 1 hit wonder but clearly put a better team in the field than anyin the history of LSU.

So you are saying that a good offensive player and a defense ranking only above Ole Miss (11th in the conference in ppg and ypg) is better than anything LSU fielded. I mean, I know you are flaming, but you are obviously football stupid. Our 2010 team hung with Auburn's second best team since 2000 and Auburn's best team since 2000 needed a rarely enforced call to get by our rebuilding 2004 team. The bottom line is you didn't even identify the best Auburn team since 2000. The rest of your posts are just meaningless attempts to get a rise out of LSU fans.

..to another SEC team, and arguably the goat program. No shame in that.

Yeah because that was easily avoidable when the 2 teams in the NC game are both SEC teams

I'm football stupid but you need me to spell out the best Aburn team over the past decade? hahahahahaha! You were obviously one of the many LSU fans on here born in 2001. Go away.

I think your "back in" was a little more significant than ours, we didn't lose to Kentucky and Arkansas.

So playing the team that beat you a month earlier for the championship game wasn't significant. Wow. Although Bama did prove to be better that night, you act like it was something you earned to even have that shot. Winning the game in T-town should of kept you out in all honesty.

So how many NCs does Bama subtract from their total then?

Although LSU doesn't agree that the 2 best teams deserve to play for the national title, the rest of the country does.

I'm not doubting that at all Shreveport. Usually body of work is stressed in the BCS but it quickly changed to best looking loss last year. Usually emerging the SEC grind unscathed doesn't mean playing SEC Championship round 2. I'm in no way denying that Bama and LSU weren't the best two teams.

I love when fans try to discredit LSUs 2007 title...any other team in the SEC and the country could have lost less than 2 games and taken our place.

yes we lost 2 games, as did every other freaking team except Ohio State (and shitty Boise)...not our fault no other team stepped up either. How did your team do in 07?

ETA: and that's not to mention that both loses were in triple overtime...which is just ridiculous and so fricking frustrating
