Yeah Baby, No. 3 is coming around the bend full steam in Miami
1-9-12 was very HOLLOW, we whip them, we whip everybody, we win everything and finish No. 1 before bowl games and then we have to do it again? BCS is messed up, looking forward to +2 in 2014

We've got Washington, Auburn, Florida, South Carolina, and Texas A&M to get through first.

So am I but that's because I think it's time for a change. However, do you realize that you could still go undefeated and get beat by Bama for the NC? The roles could be reversed as well, Bama could go undefeated but would still have to beat LSU again if they want the NC.

False. Everyone knows if LSU gets beat 9-6 in OT this year at night in tiger stadium, there is no way in hell we get the re-match. Same way as if it was Oklahoma in the title race and not OSU, there is no way they get left out. In a subjective system like the BCS, when the teams are that close, that little media push to a bigger market/more historical program will make the difference.

You realize that as a fan, you can focus on more than one game at a time and it wont effect the outcome of any of them, right? It's the players that need to keep their focus... focus'ed.

As Lou Holtz said..."the opinion of your team or HC can change every 6 days"
Once LSU beats Alabama for the 3rd straight season, Alabama fan will change his tune. Sure, they beat the crap out of LSU on 1/9...it sucks for LSU fans...former coach, Bama gets a rematch when they didn't' earn it on the field...that's the system...
Miles will be 4-3 against Saban..won back to back SEC's under Alabama's greatest run in the last 35 years.
I hope LSU gets it done next year...all the way!
We have a great team coming back, hope it all falls in place.

I find myself not even clicking on threads that relate to it. After the events of 1/9, two crystal balls in 3 years, and Saban being at the helm..I just find myself not giving a shite about that game. Nothing that could occur then will equal the outcome of 1/9, and I just find myself thinking about the Hog/UT/UM/AU much, much more. Anyone else feel this way?
You care all the more...

Yep, fans can multi task. I fully plan on having 2 TV's going 11/3 for LSU/UA and USC/Oregon.

Nah. Bama is in dynasty mode right now. Win or lose Nov. 3rd, this senior class is still the winningest BCS AQ team/class in the nation when they finish 2012, as well as most accomplished.

True...they have been outstanding
But LSU will be 10 of 14 against Alabama in the big picture.
If LSU wins of course
They got plenty of motivation this year....if Saban wins this one, I think he steals the heart of LSU for a long time...
with that, I think LSU beats Alabama comfortably this year....

That would be the 2008 UF senior class wouldn't it, the prior dynasty?

current senior class.
Currently, they are 36-4 - 90% winning percentage and 2 NC's.
Fla's 2005-08 class was 44-9 - 83% and 2 NC's.

Gotcha. Winning the conference and/or BCS CG would definitely put them ahead of 2008 UF.

Comfortably? I'd be surprised... pleasantly, but still surprised.

I guess thats for the last four years, right?
From 2000-2009
1. Boise State: 112-17 (.868)
2. Texas: 110-19 (.853)
3. Oklahoma: 110-24 (.821)
4. Ohio State: 102-25 (.803)
5. Southern California: 88-26 (.772) (reflects victories lost in the 2004 and 2005 seasons)
6. Florida: 100-30 (.769)
7. TCU: 95-29 (.766)
8. LSU: 99-31 (.762)
9. Georgia: 98-31 (.760)
10. Virginia Tech: 99-32 (.756)
When you look at the most winning....
But you can duke it out with FL over the NC's
And for the 2010-2011 seasons Boise was 1st 24-2 with a win % of 0.92308, Texas Christian was 2nd 24-2 with a win % of 0.92308, & LSU was 3rd 24-3 with a win % of 0.88889. Bama is 7th @ 22-4 and a % of 0.84615
