I wouldn't be able to bash on UGA, Bama or LSU anymore so I'd have to transfer it somewhere.

"never" and "always" are two words I would never apply to athletics. Under the right circumstances the NCAA will have no trouble putting a program on hold.
I agree, the OP is kidding herself with the "never" thinking. If the NCAA lets Miami & North Carolina off the hook the bar will be set for death penalty cases in the modern BCS era

Burn the Yellawood corporate offices to the ground.

How in the hell was Auburn close. Close would be "the NCAA has found evidence your program committed serious violations and now you are awaiting your punishment." Auburn didn't even commit any violations.

I honestly don't think we were even close. After seeing the SMU documentary and seeing what the precedent is for the DP, it is obvious we were no where close to it. They were empty threats.

When we were clear of any wrongdoing?

I know it would never happen being that the SEC is the most powerful conference in college sports, but what if the NCAA gave your school a modern death penalty? What would do you see happening?
The Dennis Franchione error was the closest thing we'll see to the "death penalty".

I guess it is worse being able to compete at full capacity but giving a piss poor performance weekend after weekend

I honestly dont think the NCAA would give another death penalty because they see what it did to SMU. But if they did, it would mean that the school was paying players unglodly amounts of money consistently and it was being convered up so well that the entire administration, both athletic and adacemic, knew about it and supported it.
