Unless someone makes a stadium that has more seats, and even then it would be tough to outdraw LSU.

LSU and Ole Miss are the only two SEC schools that had higher attendance per game in baseball than in basketball.

Yea thats what I am saying. Louisiana just has high baseball attendance. Even ULL is normally in the top 25 in attendance.

Last year I did national ranks for basketball to show that the SEC is not a weak basketball conference in terms of attendance (it's #2 to the Big Ten). The NCAA lists national ranks by average per game, so I just left it that way last year, and carried it over the same way this year.

By the way, this is the first year LSU baseball has ever beaten Kentucky basketball in total home attendance.
EDIT: LSU was behind the following 22 FBS football teams in total attendance--Michigan, Tennessee, Ohio State, Alabama, Penn State, Florida, Texas A&M, Texas, Auburn, Nebraska, Wisconsin, LSU, Georgia, South Carolina, Clemson, Florida State, Southern Cal, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Iowa, Notre Dame, & Oregon.

Got it, my only motivation was that I want Arkansas to be #2 in baseball attendance. My jimmies are eternally rustled by 1964 and baseball attendance.

Not sure how it didn't happen sooner. LSU generally has twice as many home games as Kentucky basketball and it's only half the size.

Arkansas had a higher average attendance per game than LSU in 2007. LSU just played 4 more home games to barely beat Arkansas in total attendance.

So, from an attendance perspective, the SEC East is a basketball division and the SEC West is a baseball division.
Generally speaking, of course. There are exceptions in both sports.
But 4 of top 5 baseball schools are in West. Bottom 4 are all in East.
In basketball, top 3 basketball schools are in East. 4 of the bottom 5 basketball schools are in the West.
Just the way it is right now...

I hate this. Auburn baseball used to be so much fun for me back as a student. We sat out on the hill so many times grilling and drinking with 500 other people. Rowdy crowds. Then Hal Baird retired, they started driving people off the hill, and the product started diminishing.
Some of my best memories were walking out of Dudley on a weekday and meeting a truck full of buddies and getting shite-canned still wearing my my bookbag.
