it wouldn't matter, I can't see LSU fans claiming to like other sports over football, baseball, or basketball no matter how bad they get or how good some womens program does.

they published articles early in the season, when it became apparent the team wasn't good, it was yanked.

I see article from April and May. Granted it's not much coverage but I don't think it's a sharp departure from what it was early in the season. Baseball has always taken a large back seat to spring training in football.
