Spot on again. His weight lifting has hindered his flexibility. He also gets hit in the back field a lot because his vision needs improvement.
He doesn't all ways see the hole immediately.
Eddie Lacy isn't nearly the physical specimen Trent is, but is more fluid and doesn't get hit behind the line near as much.
That's why his ypc will be higher eventhough he won't break the long runs Trent was able to.
Its one of the reasons I think Bama would pull T rich out when they were on the verge of field goal range in the LSU games. He would often get hit in the backfield and put Bama out of range.
If Yeldon wasn't super talented and Lacy could stay healthy he could get 1500 yrds. He won't because Yeldons talent will warrant him many carries.
Ingram was a better RB than Richardson to me.

Ingram was more consistent, had better balance, vision, and a world class burst.
His 40 was mediocre, but his 10 yrd split was world class.
Ingram was more likely to give you 4 to 6 yards on a play and break an occasional 15 to 20 yarder.
Richardson had too many plays for no gain or negative yrds. He was good for a 30 to 50 yarder though.
His stat sheet would be 21 carries for 88 yrds and defenses would feel they kept him check. Then boom
22 carries 153 yrds.

I thought the Browns should have drafted DeCastro with their other 1st round pick
yeah, same here.

It doesn't make much sense to take a RB early when your roster has a ton of holes and are years away from Super Bowl contention.
well, couldn't they have drafted Julio Jones in 2011? Yes. Instead, they traded with ATL for a host of draft picks. I guess the Browns just don't value the WR position all that much.

Just look at LT with the Chargers. He already had 1000 carries under his belt before the Chargers finally made the playoffs in 2004. And the Chargers didn't become a Super Bowl contender until 2006, LT's sixth year in the league. LT was basically done as a premier RB after 2007 with the Chargers only being a Super Bowl caliber team in two of those years. It doesn't make much sense to take a RB early when your roster has a ton of holes and are years away from Super Bowl contention.
don't compare what the Chargers did to what the Browns can only dream of.

Lol at the Bama fans trashing Jim Brown. He's a top 5 player of all-time, I think he has the right to his own opinion.
