Serious question: If your game vs Texas is on the Longhorn Network, how are you planning on watching it? I'll hang up and listen.
Some station near WVU will be able to pick up the game and broadcast it.
If he isn't near Morgantown, then he is screwed.

You should go to road games in Lubbock. You'll find a fan environment that is very familiar

I disagree, like sarc said... They have stated this deal takes a back seat to the playoff set up.
There is more money in getting two SEC teams into a 4 team playoff, even if it doesn't happen every year.
Slive will ditch this setup in a second if he gets what he wants out of the playoff.
I doubt it. Think about it; the BCS gave specific tie ins to conf champs. That's how UConn got into a BCS game at 8-4. Slive is giving the SEC conf champ a big name bowl to go to IF, and its a big 'if', they aren't in the top 4 in the polls. Slive is pushing for a 4 team playoff without a conf champ auto-bid. What if the SEC champ is a 9-3 USC ranked #9? There are no current non-BCS bowls for the SEC #1. Slive is cementing a slot for the SEC champ, whatever the outcome.
The Sugar Bowl is a possibility to get the bid of course.

Been to Austin before?
Tailgating is pretty weak, however comma, 6th street is very nice. Should check it out, or go down to San Antonio, which also has a great bar scene.

There is no way this is a Georgia fan.
Dawgs! Is this one of yours?
Actually I am a huge Dawg fan. EVERYONE in and out of the SEC knows you and Missouri aren't shite. You can't even win the Big 12. UGA has won 2 SEC championships in the last 10 years!

Those programs are nowhere near the level of Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas.
And the best years of Pitt & BC were before WVU even joined the conference.

All bias aside, Austin is definitely worth the trip. Despite all the homeless hippies it's a sweet city and 6th Street has everything you could want. The tailgating is pretty average, and its hurt by UT pretty much being in the middle of a city.
I hope Rapey Holgorsen runs up the score

you do realize they played every year along with Penn State during its dominate era
before we joined the big east we played our future conference members already as an independent but one of our natty games was while a member of the BE

Why are you talking about a good Non-Con and your playing Marshall, Maryland, and James Madison.

that will pretty much never happen.
The runners up to the conference get the nod if the 1st team makes the playoffs. This is a new bowl game between top teams in both the conferences... the Sugar Bowl will most likely take a host spot for one of the playoff games.

Hey now, James Madison is a good school that is really up-and-coming in the FCS. I have a good friend who went there and he reminds me all the time about them beating VD.

Well they did beat VT a couple years ago so there you go West Virginia!

I guess when you come from a conference in which your 3-4 biggest games are all OOC I guess thats just what you have to do.
