The players respect and like Cuonzo because he played at a high level in college and played in the NBA. Along with that, he is consistent in his treatment of all the players.
Tennessee players loved Pearl as well for different reasons.

they will play harder and respect the coach if we get someone that demands respect and hard play, instead of a pushover pussy who sells his soul and doesn't know what he's talking about.
