crowell was sat down several times by older players and coaches, he was suspended a game and i think he got suspended 2 other times for less than a half but regardless he was actually disciplined. also, if you were experienced on this here site you'd know i wasn't here posturing for richt's canonization. he is a dip shite. but he is infinitely better than dooley.

and yea, you already admitted your team gave up, that what i meant by quit. and i am done arguing this, you saw my points, you chose to ignore them and i already stand by mine, really at this point the best i can tell is good luck and hope you're right for you're program's sake

The problem with UT is that the younger players are playing over the older players. Who is going to sit down Darick and tell him to straighten out?
The coaches constantly tried but the drop off between Darick and our next reciever was too huge to sit him. When Hunter was on the team, Darick worked his arse off. His development from freshmen year to sophomore year was amazing, but once Hunter went down, he knew that no one would realistically take his spot.

I know, UT gave up at the end of the year. It was obvious they did. Almost all of our players had another year left and some of them didn't want to practice in the cold for another month to play a bad team. It was quite obvious when Bray said that he needed a break from football.

You have made reasonable points and I respect them, but you have to look at from an unproven coaches stand point. How bad would UT's unreasonable, crazy fanbase act if he took out Rogers? He is there to win.

The cold hard truth is that Dooley is learning on the job. He is a young coach that has had to rebuilding projects. No one has seen what he can do with a complete team. Of course Richt is better than Dooley right now, but that doesn't mean Dooley can't reach that level. Every coach has growing pains. Saban had it at Michigan State, Miles had it a Okie State, and some at LSU too.

and i agree with all of that but he has to be responsible, no matter how raw the deal. i think Richt has plateaued but i also can't see dooley making it that long. i think dooley is the stepping stone to your next guy because he just has so much against him and the fact his is so new to it. it's unfair but he has to pull some serious coaching out of his arse for this next few years
