I have a ton of LSU gear. A buddy works in the athletic office, and each time they come to Atlanta (SEC champ game, basketball tourney, etc.) he brings me a huge arse box of LSU stuff. I've got hoodies, polos, hats, t-shirts, shorts, and best of all, 3 full LSU Nike warmup suits from the 2005, and 2 different sets from the 2008 Peach Bowl. I have almost as much LSU stuff as I do UGA, and wear it all the time.

I could support a local team from my home state especially with a good mascot.
I've just never understood why people wear another teams logo unless they grew up in that state, had family or personal friends play for the team, taught or was enrolled at some point on campus undergraduate or graduate...

I'll jump in;
I wear Miami stuff but I go to grad school there so I think it's justified. And I have some ivy league t-shirts to show how learned I am

You like the average person walking down the street associating you with a team who is a rival in your own conference?
That "Buy It Now" price on E-bay would be getting some action with LSU gear.

I find this completely acceptable.
I was enrolled on campus at Arkansas and UCLA (not online) therefore I can support both. However, Arkansas is 99% of my support for many, many reasons.
I only bring up UCLA when it's stupid bandwagon Trojan fans who want to be associated with a winning program since we are missing the NFL team out here.

When I was a kid I got a Michigan hoodie for Christmas or something, one year. I loved that sweatshirt. I had never been to Michigan and I'm not sure where it came from, but it fit really well and was comfortable so I loved it. Plus Michigan used to be good at everything.
I also used to wear a Chi O shirt my brother left at home one summer, and I had no idea WTF Chi O was at the time.

You just jogged my memory.
I went to Michigan football camp in 99' (I think) and did come back with a Michigan sweatshirt but I never wear it and have no idea what happened to it.
However, in the large group photos of all Safeties at the camp I had an Arkansas shirt on and still have that photo to this day. Therefore, no one could sway me away from the Hogs, ha.
My point is I don't want to be associated in public with another SEC team when I'm all HOG. I'm assuming these girls from Texas who go to Arkansas now thinks it's okay to wear a Longhorn shirt on campus considering they weren't even born when we played in the SWC...
Man, how times have changed.

Yeah I've seen Texas stuff with the students around here. Back in my day that would have been a no-no.
I wore an Aggie shirt that one day. It actually was a nice shirt except for the big Texas A&M on the chest. I had it in my drawer for a couple of years before finally just donating it to GoodWill.
I don't mind looking like a tourist anymore, so I enjoy wearing Arkansas stuff when I travel.

Have a UT hat from someone from when my dad was in Austin for a meeting in 01 or 02. Have a Michigan State hat I bought when I went to the Capital One Bowl last year, and a BC hat just because I like it. I would never wear another SEC teams stuff, except for Vandy, maybe.

Of course i have a shite ton of Belhaven gear. I also have some Miss. State gear from my official visit there + some t-shirts from camps and combines. A t-shirt from an Alabama basketball camp, a few shirts from Millsaps College, Chadron State college from my visit there, and my ECCC gear.
