do you instill discipline by not doing shite when they break rules?

My problem isn't the fact that he is suspending players for being shite heads. If they got into a fight or some other such bullshite, then they don't deserve to continue playing college basketball. It's a privilege, not a right.

My problem is the fact that this is the 3rd time he has had to suspend players in the last 2 years. 4 different players, and one guy twice. That's a shite ton for a basketball program. Whatever he is doing as far as getting through to them about what behavior is and is not acceptable is clearly not working. That much is on him.

Do you think most fans would've been behind him had he booted them from the get go (given that's a lot of the talent on your team)? The reason I ask is that's a hard place to be in at somewhere like Alabama where top-talented kids aren't beating down your doors. Sometimes you have to take risks on kids that might not be the greatest quality characters in order to get talent on your team. I think that's what Grant has done here and it's biting him in the arse now.

no, it would be on him if he werent doing anything. But guess what? He is. ITs his second year. He's not putting up with the bullshite and he's suspending players. You're mad cause he didnt prevent this shite? Or "didnt get through to them." shite, he suspending them. Not much else he can do other than kick them off for good. Either way, being mad because discpline problems have happened is kind of stupid. the only way i would be mad is if they were not punioshed, which they clearly have been.
