Well said but ALL the games are part of the discussion because we’re talking about a game called “The Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry.” It’s longevity is what makes this series notable, not just what’s happened the last decade or two. Same thing with TSIO. I would usually agree with you that 50+ year history is irrelevant in today’s college football landscape, but not in discussions of our cherished rivalries with these rich histories.

No doubt SOR is more competitive right now. The streakiness of TSIO is part of the fun. If I want competitive football I could tune into Vandy/KY. Before you blow a gasket I’m not comparing Vandy/KY to SOR, just pointing out that I don’t see the cyclical nature of TSIO as a negative.

But yes, we are all getting screwed in expansion. Good night.

pretty sure we already argued this, not my problem if you missed the bus. plus seems sandman has a good handle here so ill let ya get back to writing novels
