Struggle? What are y'all talking about.

Hog fans say he is much better at evaluating talent than all the other coaches and especially all the recruiting services.

Petrino himself said yesterday that a lot of the recruiting gurus don't know what they're talking about, but, he does.

Petrino don't need no stinkin' 5 stars...or 4 stars...or even more than one or two 3 stars! He'll coach 'em up to another third place in the West finish over the likes of mighty teams like Auburn, Mississippi State, and Ole Miss.

The majority of our class is 3 or 4 star, just like every year. We have maybe 1 or 2 that are lower (never evaluated by the recruiting services).

No one ever said he was better than any other coaches. Better than the $30k/yr "experts" at rivals? You're goddamn right. Hence the $4MM/yr Petrino earns. If not, please explain 5>8>10>11 wins in the toughest division of college football's toughest conference.

Or, if you're looking back just 1 year, 2nd place...above LSU AND Alabama.
