I figured you would appreciate this kid a little more after seeing this pic.

I think Carter could coach, and even probably recruit pretty good. But wouldn't he have to start as a grad assistant? If so it would have to be something he would really, really, wanted to do and probably continue to do even after his son left.
He also has to work towards his own degree to do anything on the collegiate level.
So it's:
Make less money, have to go to school
or
Stay with ESPN, make more money, not do any real work

So the Duron Carter being eligible/reinstate rumors are flying around again? I will believe it when I see him actually check into his first game.
ETA: When I see the person in his uniform take off his helmet in front of a TV camera so I can confirm that it is indeed him. Even then I would want a DNA test.

Ugh. I'm so tired of this Duron Carter situation. I won't even comment on him any more.

so this could very well be a UT-UA battle moving foward.
Auburn is in good with him right now. Doubt it will only be a Tennessee/Alabama battle.

By all reports, pretty good. Out of the prospects that were there, we should land roughly 1/3 of them (that includes commits). That's how its been every year at least.

So did anyone actually commit?

Yes a kid named Reuben Foster 2 star LB from AUHS and some smaller DL named Montravius Adams, but uneventful otherwise. Anyone have any info on these two?

TUSCALOOSA _ According to a report from coachingsearch.com, Paul Gonnella has accepted an offer to be the University of Alabama’s Director of Player Personnel for the football staff.
Gonnella had the same position last year at Purdue, after having the same position at Memphis. He previously had similar roles at Miami, Tennessee and North Carolina.
Gonnella will replace Ed Marynowitz, who left to be the assistant director of pro scouting for the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles.
Typical responsibilities for the position include managing the overall recruiting process, organizing all prospect videos, organizing all official and unofficial visits and monitoring assistant coaches efforts .
He also has coaching experience, serving as the head coach at Cambridge Rindge and Latin School in Cambridge, Mass., defensive graduate assistant and quality control at Mississippi State and on the staffs at Lovejoy (Ga.) and Somerville (Mass.) High Schools.

Yep, although the last one said something about June 1st. I don't really care either way, he'll have to put on a show to jump in with the top 3 WRs. Not like the depth chart there has proven much, but they've put in more work as this point and the coaching staff is happy with them.
I could see him ending up as a redzone option, but that's all.

Take a page out of an old wrestling gimmick, replace the person, keep the name.

BOL staff seemed to be happy with him when his name first popped up. I don't know too much about him.
