IM in my new apartment, but I keep forgetting it (Nightly IM thread)

Sitting in the dark on my computer and every time I look to my right I expect to see a wall and when I look to my left I expect to see the rest of my bedroom. Instead I see a sofa and a fireplace.
What's going on everybody?

Just relax and put on some Allman Brothers. You can ride this out.

They taste good though.

Do your walls taste like snozberries?

... on second thought, live it up.

Where'd you end up?
Lakes of Inverness (in the Inverness suburb of Bham for those not familiar with the location). Not the nicest of apartments, but they are decent. The location is pretty good. Pretty much everything I need is within 5 miles.

I know where you're talking about. And I concur.
In reality, I'll take conveinence over comfort more often than not.
Place I'm in is nice, but a lil pricey, but it's 3 minutes from work, 1 minute from the bar I go to, and 2 minutes from Publix. Only thing I have to drive a lil ways for is wal-mart/target & gas.

I think I just broke my wife's jaw with my scrotum.

My office is only 3 lights away down 280. Super Target is about the same, but the opposite direction. There is a Publix and a Wal-Mart somewhere between my office and the Target. Plus the Summit is relatively short drive away.
ETA:
Sounds like you need a new wife.

You live in Da Ham?

I lived right behind the Summit when I lived in Bham. Good location.

Good to hear things are going well
I may or may not be eating food in your kitchen. Don't go check.

Lots of good food and shopping in the Summit. I bet traffic was a bitch at certain times though with your proximity.

Does turning around count? I didn't get out of my chair so technically I didn't go do anything.

I could see the back of Brunos (now Toys Are Us) from my back deck.
But I can count on one hand the # of times I went through the Summit to get home in the entire year I lived there.
