Things Cooper should proclaim the next time a Big Ten Team faces LSU, Bama or someone else in the SEC in a future BCSNC game
(1)..."Boys we got em where we want em...SEC QB's suck"
(2) "We're gonna run it down their throats"
(3) "We're gonna Pass and Pass, they're secondaries are weak"

After the game we say.."Y'all come back now yeah?, and don' t let the door on that airliner hit you in the are"

Cooper's OSU was known to be dirty, even Robert Smith stated so.

I'm surprised you're the first one who brought this up

add in:
1) the tOSU stuff (from Clarett to TP) that took place under a not as holy as we thought Tressell
2) PSU covering up a pedophilia scandal for around a decade if not more,

and pass the hypocrite

I don't think the SEC is clear is as clean as a whistle but a big ten guy lobbing bombs at teh SEC in particular just speaks to jealousy. In recent history scandals in teh Big 10 and ACC (NC and Miami esp) have seemed a lot worse

And btw if the SEC is run by rampant cheaters why can't we buy some basketball legitimacy? Basketball is dirtier and more agent infested than football... pending the next big Calipari story the Big 10 Michigan Fab Five story probably puts anything the SEC has done to shame

Wasn't Smith more after Uzeliak than Coop? I think Coop is a snake, but always was under impression that Smith had an axe to grind anyway.

Sure, but you don't find SEC coaches or presidents constantly accusing the Big Ten of being a dirty conference either. At least the SEC is not hypocritical about it and we win.

He's obviously SECsessed.

I said I wasn't defending his comments, but they are truthful as much as they are butthurt

As I said before, all the major players are doing it, so I don't have a huge problem with it

The SEC is hypocritical as well; Auburn has repeatedly said nothing was paid to Cam Newton. Ummmm I think 90% of the non-Auburn posters on here would call bull on that.

There is nothing hypocritical about defending yourself. What would have been hypocritical would be if Gene Chizik had said "Auburn is clean. What the NCAA really needs to do is take a look at these dirty Big Ten schools."

Defend your own team all you want, but don't keep throwing whine balls at the SEC just because we win and you guys don't.

Yea i erased that comment because Hypocritical wasn't the right word for the situation. Maybe lying to the NCAA was a better fit

I say he schedules LSU and Bama for the first two games next season. What will he have to say then?

Ummm...he's not even a current coach. He was OSU's former coach until Tressel took over in 2001. He was a hell of a recruiter in his days, up there with the Saban/Miles/Meyer guys of today

Coops best job IMO was going 10-1 at TU but no bowl, they had Palomino Express offense and then won Rose Bowl at ASU, which got him job to replace Bruce. When he lost back to back to Carolina, his fate was sealed (the Michigan record also). But Coop as a builder of teams, was probably better than people have him credit for.

You are so mad. Chizik lied to the NCAA? When did this come out? This is news to all of us here in Auburn.

Not defending the comments, but we all know the big schools in football are cheating, and get caught every so often.

SEC schools are cheating just as much, if not more than the Big X, and just haven't been caught yet. Hell, it took 10 years for them to catch PSU. When the police and the legal community are in bed with the university it helps a lot. I'm not saying it's wrong, b/c I want OSU to do what it takes to compete, and if that is cheat like everyone else, then cheat smart

Nice fantasy man. You ought to apply as a comedy writer on Letterman.
I really LOATHE these idiot fans from other conferences that try to JUSTIFY AND RATIONALIZE their sins and somehow have the gall to just PROCLAIM that everybody does it.

So just because Ahia State and PenisinAnus State have scandals, that follows (according to YOUUUUUUUUUUU) that Miles is covering up a team-wide selling SECC Rings for tattoos scandal as we speak...
And John Chavis was caught in the LSU locker room with young boys. Riiiiight.

Just STFU please. I hear RiteAid has a sale on Massengale.

If you don't think stuff goes on behind the scenes at all the big boy programs then I feel sorry for you. You're just flat out wrong.

I've heard agents talk about Kearse in college at UF. Guy would play poker with him 3 times a week and sure enough, Kearse would come away with thousands every time. It just happens, whether or not people want to believe it.

You're turning a blind eye, and if you want to do that feel free. I'm not bashing it; I think if you want to compete you have to b/c I do believe everyone is doing it

Not a prob at all

Guy could recruit with anyone in his day, but couldn't win national titles...I'd compare him very favorably to Richt in his on field results, with Saban/Meyer in his recruiting
