The media suckfest of bama has gotten to the general public (again) and has caused more money to be put on Bama. Very few experts are picking LSU (again) thus proving they are still blinded by the crimson whatever it is.

One of the casino guys was on the radio earlier and he said the general public is betting on LSU and the high rollers ($100,000 and up) that gamble for a living are betting on bama
The Superbook at the Las Vegas Hotel and Casino had twice as many LSU bets as Alabama, but the bigger bets were mostly on the Tide, director Jay Kornegay reported Sunday afternoon.

You guys don't seem to understand how it works: The line moves when more money is bet on one side. They change the line to encourage bettors on the other side. In this case betting on Alabama is so heavy they're increasing the line to discourage bets on Alabama and encourage bets on LSU - but the line keeps going up because more of the betting public believes Alabama will win.
Wrong. Only 37% of the money is going on Bama. Public is playing LSU. Big money is playing Bama.

Alabama is now a solid 2 to 2.5 point favorite accross the board at every legal casino in the US and every offshore sports book.
bama is a one point favorite on 5dimes, which is the most used sportsbook on the MSB.
i put 250 on lsu ml +115
risk 250 to win 287.50

I would never bet on either of these teams against each other and give up any points. That is crazy, either of these teams could beat the other by 1, 2, 3 or 14.
This would make sense in how much the media is pushing the revenge factor and beat a team twice in one year factor.
LSU is basically at home with an undefeated 13-0 team that beat this team in their house. At worse this is even money

if bama is the favorite, and the line keeps increasing to make bama even more of a favorite, it signals the majority of the money bet has been in favor of bama.
perhaps you meant total bets placed and not "money"

Meaningless. I would put my knowledge up against ANY vegas high roller on these two teams and would bet I know more about them than 90% of the so called "high rollers".

No he is right, you are just misunderstanding him. Higher volume of bets is on LSU, more money is being bet on Alabama.

thats not what he said at all. go re-read his post he clearly said only 30 something % of the "money" is bet on bama.

Whenever the line moves 3 or more points, always go with Vegas. Vegas set the line at 1.5 for LSU. It's not at 2.5 for Bama. Vegas is hardly ever wrong by that much. Tigers Win!!!

No...it is a reverse line.More money going on Bama but your average Joe Blow is putting his 250 on LSU. Lhe line is moving to get more Joe blows to play LSU.
