I would have come out firing on the first play. No matter what, you don't play for a FG. You never play not to lose, you've gotta play to win. Richt's teams haven't had the killer instinct late in games for a few years. It's not just the OT, the D let them get back in the game by not pressuring the QB and playing off the WRs.

MSU threw an interception on their first possession in the 1st overtime. All UGA had to do was kick a field goal. They put their most sure handed ball handler in at running back (from what the announcer said). Murray lined the ball up for a field goal. How is that playing "not to lose"? Did the kicker not nail a 49 yarder on the next OT?
