Like they made it to make the governor feel better

What I thought sounded made up was the fact that he said 4 years was the longest contract anyone in the state of Mississippi could have. That just doesn't seem plausible. Limit that to just State employees and it becomes plausible. A little strange, but much more believable.

The Governor, of course IS a State Employee.
Mississippi State University is a PUBLIC University run by the State Board of IHL thus Mullen or any coach or elected official can only have a contract/salary through 4 years.
I learned that in State and Local Govt class I took in college.
there are always way around these provisions. booster clubs are public entities but not state owned, so their procurement and contracts may not have to follow state government policies. in SC, only head coaches and coordinators can have multiyear contracts. therefore, Spurrier named Lorenzo Ward as the Defensive Coordinator to lure him from Petrino @ Arkansas w/ a multiyear deal. Ellis Johnson is actually our Associate Head Coach.

You know what he meant. You're just trying to confuse the Bundy.

Didn't your bullshite program have a whole bunch of good recruits at this time last year only to defect to Ole Miss?

Was signing day moved to Dec 17th or is this just a premature thread?

Everyday is signing day to Bundy. He will never learn. He is like a toddler when it comes to this...

JUCO signing day and EE signing day is actually Dec. 21st
Ole Hugh don't have the pull that Nutt had. I highly doubt ANY of our commitments flip to Ole Miss.

We didn't have 2 FIVE STARS like we have now.
Quay and Denico

So in a week you decide who has "pull"?

If you graduate at Christmas, you actually sign the first day you enroll for spring classes in January.

we had a lot of guys that were saying they were committed but were taking visits etc. Then we lost our D coordinator and lost a huge one. We're not losing assistants this year and they all seem very committed this time. Don't get me wrong, I know better than to count them as "locks."

First off, Hugh brought in Dex, Oher, Wallace, etc.... You might have heard of them.
Secondly, I don't really want Quay, but dude has a Landshark tattoo and has already proven he's nuts(which is why I don't want him).

I concur with you on this one tds. He may be questionable or whatever, but that is a stupid statement...

Feel free to stalk my previous posts. I've never wanted him. I'm sick of headcases. I'm not saying he isn't talented, but I am saying he's not all there.

Ok. I see your point. Ole Miss should pass on five stars if they have any indications of problems. They can do that.
eta: I would never stalk anyone's posts. This internet stuff is not important enough for that. So I am definitely not gonna stalk posts by the famous Rebelgator, cousin of rebman and coonassrebel
