Some can't grasp the accomplishments of teams they play. What Lsu has done this past decade has been tremendous. Lsu is definitely having the best run of in it's history and won't be dropping off in the foreseeable future. It's one thing to talk a little smack after a current win, but going back and doing what some are doing is laughable sometimes.

Irks you that Lsu will never catch Bama, doesn't it. Probably irks you even more, that Saban could have more Crystal Balls than Lsu does come next month too.

No one will ever catch Alabama. If anyone gets close, Alabama will just make up 5 more to push the total up. And ur right, he probably could, but he wont. Thanks for playing.

Going by winning percentage, yep. Tied for 3rd since 1983, meanwhile, Lsu is 6th, mired in the middle of the pack

Convenient attempted manipulation of the facts....but the Truth is because you had to forfeit/vacate so 31 games for cheating that Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Auburn and LSU have all WON MORE GAMES than Bama since 1983.

The talk is SEC. Those are SEC percentages, and no, Bama did not vacate 31 SEC games. Stupidass.

Doesn't mean he won't be winning a third one if Bama wins next month.

Should have quoted more of your dumb statement. So now you GUMPs want to claim Lil Nicky's title that he won at LSU? Hey little boy...go home and get your daddy (uncle) to come over here and give us someone to argue with. You need to get to school.

go back and try to find where I said anything other than he could have 3 before Lsu does. Never said 3 at Bama.

This may answer your question.

The ONLY year Bama got ALL votes in ALL polls was 2009. All other years, other teams also were voted #1 in at least one poll.

so bama's AD in 83' -84' didn't decide to claim five extra titles because it shed a better light on Alabama football?

Be nice if you'd listed the polls, but that would have blasted that entire post you did.

ESPN has the final say in all things related to sports and they say Bama has 7 NC's.

eta - Because you do realize they claim 13, yet only played in one Bowl game before 1970 and they have no claim to a title in that year. So, they claim 10 NC's when they never played in a Bowl Game, and you've established by your statements to Bama, that they shouldn't have claimed those awarded by the AP given before Bowl games. Or are you going to be dishonest and hypocritical now

You do realize that for a very long time Bowl Games were viewed as nothing more than glorified scrimmages, right? So much so that for a long time they were not even considered by those who chose national champions? You also realize that Alabama claims a title (awarded if you will) where they actually lost the Sugar Bowl to Notre Dame in a game that matched #1 vs #2 undefeated teams?

Also, last time I had this debate Notre Dame only claimed 11 national championships. If they claim 13 now they must have pulled a bammer... but I suspect you are going off of what some website said, rather than what the university actually officially claims.

I had forgotten how touchy you guys get about ND. ROFL. So mad... so so mad.

The link is inside the thread. But, here it is since you're too lazy to look.

LINK

I count 6 legit/majority NCs. In the other 7 "so called NCs",other teams had the majority of #1 votes.
