Yeah, but I will say at the time he had a little bit of a bad reputation and wasn't playing well. Even LSU fans were saying he was overrated.

I love when LSU fans contradict each other in the same thread. I said last time that I can't really prove what I think about the guy. It just looks like to me he can be taken out of a ballgame by any defense that is better than avg. Or by a good corner. I think a good corner can shut him down rather easily.

So you want us to just accept that you can't prove something that you want to assert? This isn't the preseason polls dude. We've had an entire season to prove this stuff. If you want to argue the merits of Darrick and Wright over Randle, fine. I've had that discussion, it's valid, even if Randle still comes out on top of Wright IMO. But to blindly state that Randle is overrated without any substantive backing is the reason why you look like a dumbass here.

I can see that. At the time this thread was made, TM7 was sucking and had been suspended during a crucial point in the season. Lee was kicking arse too btw. He didn't seem to slow down any WR's then. I just have a gut feeling that RR isn't as good as LSU fans think. So I said he's overrated.
