These people are pathetic. Their protests of funerals just to be recognized by the media is sickening and this is so far cross the line it turns my stomach. I just looked at their twitter and they are the most ignorant people ever.
I'm sure it has been said but trying to justify this very sad horrible situation with the problems on college campuses and the Penn State situation is flabbergasting.
I do find some solace in the fact that Knile Davis (10,208) has over twice as many followers as these morons (4,767).

Westboro tried to stage some protests in Dothan for one of our fallen, local law enforcement told them they would all be arrested on site. They did not protest

The Kansas City Star did a profile on Megan Phelps yesterday. It's heartbreaking to read about a young woman who got straight A's all through high school and college but is stuck in her family's cult. Very enlightening story if you have the time to read it, it's quite long.

Branches and geological petrifications,
May fracture my skeletal structure,
But words, however specious,
Can never cause great harm to any degree.
However, these people are going to put themselves in the gunsights of some unstable unit somewhere who thinks he's also on a mission from God. Do they deserve to die for what they say or preach? Nope, but they're messing with dynamite.
I went on 3 Patriot Guard rides and wondered if I was just putting myself in the line of fire, but Phelps and crew never showed up.

I disagree, these people are fricking evil. A 19 year old kid died. I really hope they get what is coming to them.

Anyone else find it ironic that Megan "loves her iPhone"? I guess she doesn't mind supporting a company that is run by the most powerful gay man in the world.
