This is my favorite song Arkansas plays, aside from "Arkansas Fight!"
Swing March

I was impressed with the sound of Auburns band the other day.
I don't know if it was Arkansas band I was hearing saturday or OM's but they sounded horrible.

We took a tiny pep band to Ole Miss and they did sound terrible.
I've noticed that full bands visit some SEC stadiums. I've never seen an SEC full band visit an Arkansas game.
Auburn's band a few weeks ago in Fayetteville might have been 25 people. Tiny.

Yeah, we only took a pep band for that since they flew over.
We've got 380 in the full band.

Yep. Nobody ever sends their band to Fayetteville. Too far. I remember as a kid seeing full bands from Texas and A&M and Rice, etc.
But I've never seen a full SEC band at Arkansas.
LSU's small band always seems awesomely loud when they come to Little Rock. Maybe that's a full band but they just don't march.

I'm really not trying to flame you about the band, but it wasn't the size. It was the horrible intunation and tweedy sound.
Though I'm sure the full band would have sounded much better.
Of course, CBS won't even mic TGBFTL any more.

Arkansas' band has played this for many years. We don't play it so much anymore, but it is the name of our live mascot, afterall. But, yeah, we stole that from USC. We stole it before Bama, though.
Arkansas started playing Tusk in the early 90's.

It is amazing that the SEC bands to win the Sudler Trophy got them all pretty much in consecutive years (from Wiki):
2000 University of Georgia
2001 Texas A&M University
2002 Louisiana State University
2003 University of Alabama
2004 Auburn University
Arkansas won it in 2006.

I'll take the college band that I marched in that was named the best college marching band by ESPN 2, 9 years in a row.

I think you are stupid if you think bands in the SEC are weak, ot that the music is piped in.
There is so much piped in music at SEC games its almost an NFL game. Go to a B10 game. The only music you hear is from the band. Their repertoires are a lot broader because of this.
Or I can do it your way:
You are stupid

I don't think there's a better, more fun, more stirring pregame band entrance in the SEC than the Auburn University Marching Band's (LINK).

Not a band "cheer" but a cool song that Alabama's band has added to the pre-game show is "Tusk" from Fleetwood Mac. Sounds really good.
That's one of two signature tunes for the USC Trojan Band.

Two things I do not ever miss are the trumpeter in the corner and Krypton at the start of the 4th. I don't care if an OT 10 offers to blow me in the SLC bathroom at my tailgate, I am not missing the Battle Hymn.
One thing that NEVER fails to impress me about the UGA band is the chubby majorette who can throw flaming batons 100 feet in the air and catch them in her teeth while doing a hand stand.
AMAZING!
(Yeah, I exaggerated, but sometimes it seems like that. She's always AMAZING and they seem to have one every year. )

Meh, PSU played a lot of party music during the Bama game. Their band was very nice though.

I don't see why Georgia fans like the battle hymn of the republic so much, its the same song that was playing as half of your state was burned to the ground.
