Well, you know you did.

I'm not real happy about that either. But unlike Oregon, they actually came up with a tangible good during the investigation.
However, Lyles came out and said that the tanigible goods that he provided were a cover to what he actually was hired for.

Look, there was a LIFE CHANGING decision made on where to go to College. You think $180,000 slipped by in the discussion somehow?
But there is the possibility it could have also. Such as his dad was going behind his back to try and make some money off his son.

I won't call you crazy, as your conclusion is a reasonable one as well. But it is not the only one and it is not a much more than likely one as well. There are several scenarios that could have taken place and everyone is entitled to their opinion

Then we deserve punishment for that. I'm the most honest fricker I know. I do everything by the book.

Possibly. But in my opinion, highly unlikely.

That's all this is. My opinion. Which at the end of the day and apparently at the end of this investigation, doesn't matter for shite.

I'm pretty sure it's the same at the begining of the day too.

I've read your posts. If this is your schtick, let me know so I won't confuse it for just random stupid banter.

Not really my schtick, just in a mood. I'd go ahead and classify it as random stupid banter to be safe. I'll strive to be a quality poster one day.

Enjoyed the discussion. Nobody actually got their panties in a wad over my opinion. Pretty surprised to be honest.

It's because Auburn fans forgot what it was like to have unwadded panties for about 11 months now. Now that order has returned, I'm going to try to find time to iron said panties so in future rant flames, I can have them in a wad.

To make sure Alabama's players are appropriately dressed for Saturday's visit to Ole Miss and The Grove, T-Town Menswear is giving a 100 percent discount on all merchandise accompanied by a player's autograph. In other words: it's business as usual. Alabama -25

the real issue now is how much info did Trooper give the NCAA on Lyles connection to LSU

BAMA13NT, yes it is repulsive the 30+ year "pay for play" fiasco continues at the "barn". Auburn must have some influential people at the top who can manage to divert, denie, and cover up the trail of their dishonest ways of trying to be something they're NEVER going to be...... a highly recognized and envied institution / football program of honesty, integrity, prestige, tradition, and be nationally respected. It's disgusting that this SE Alabama school for "stockyard management " can "BUY" their way into the record books. For all the "paid players" who attended AU, they are no better than the "crims" at the county lock-up. How any of these players can look at themseleves in the mirror and say" yea, I did my thing honestly and with integrity while being an Auburn football player is beyond me. That includes Bo Jackson, Cadillac Williams and others. The "aubie" trophy room is a vault of tainted hardware, obtained by deceit and the greed of a bunch of wannabe's who don't have an ounce of integrity in their souls. Fortunately, the whole country knows how "dirty" the "barn" is and NO ONE respects them at all. It's ALL DOWN HILL AUBIES!!!! RTR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why would the HBO4 refused to be interviewed after agreeing to this letter proves these guys were paid off by *ubarn's finest.
The letter specifically states that the HBO 4 investigation was closed because ALL FOUR OF THEM refused to be interviewed after initially agreeing to. *ubarn, you guys are so corrupt in every single facet of your university, it's beyond pathetic. Now I really believe they paid the "witness" to the bagman off as well.
quote:
This is exactly what will happen: years from now, $cam will retire from the NFL. Shortly thereafter, in a rare, one on one interview, he'll admit *ubarn paid for his services. But because it was a dead issue that happened many years prior to this, the NCAA won't bother to hammer them. It's typical...
quote:
i feel the same sick feeling now as i did when the DEAL was cut with the ncaa on the 2 hour suspension of scam last year..............bama needs to let mizzou in the sec, move *uburn to the east, keep tenn. as our permanate rival from the east, and only see *uburn every 5 or 6 years...........short of kicking them out of the sec, this is the next best thing.............the farther away from *uburn, the better bama will be............*uburns cheating now will have NO LIMITS...........even if bama joins another conference, we need to be as far from *uburn as possible........i couldnt be more serious about this...........any thoughts?????
quote:
This isn't the first time they've skated on major violations. Their former coach (Bowden) blew the lid off their systematic PFP scheme in the early part of the 2000s and it was swept under the rug.
Then there was Sociology gate that was swept under the rug. And knowing the HBO 4 suddenly refused to interview with the NCAA tells us they were paid off just as ALL of their ex-coaches are forced into singing non-disclosure agreements (and the purpose of ND agreements are to hide secrets) upon leaving the program - meaning they're paid money to keep quiet. What irks me is we went through the same situation with Albert Means. There was NO PROOF, yet we were hammered beyond belief. In addition, photos leaked of recruits at a party with Tigerette Hostesses and to top it all off, Cecil Newton could never deny he did not accept money for Cam's services. Not to mention a guy by the name of Greg Jones (who works for Auburn University) offered cash to Geno Smith on Twitter, then when word got out, he kicks off half his followers (including Geno Smith) and deletes his Facebook. This is revolting and is likely the end of the NCAA as we know it
lulz

How much $$$$$$$$$$ did the "HBO FOUR" get for not the NCAA? You KNOW that they were paid off to keep their mouths shut. To me, it makes *U look even more guilty when those four guys refused to cooperate with the NCAA after they detailed the pay for play scheme at *U. This whole thing stinks and we all know what happened, yet they get away with it yet again. Corruption will likely increase even more now down in Lee County since they feel untouchable. We will see a sudden increase in highly rated recruits committing to *U over the next few weeks-wait and see.
*U is free to PAY PLAYERS with NO PENALTIES!!!!!! Great job, NCAA!!!!!!!

They probably got as much $$$$$$$$$$$$$ as the nzaa investigators got to look the other way.
U of Miami ...................You have nothing to worry about.

Guys, I'm taken aback by how EVERY NON-SEC FAN is claiming this is an SEC conspiracy. They KNOW *ubarn is dirty, BUT they skated simply because *ubarn is an SEC team and SEC teams are media darlings. If that were the case, then why is LSU, Tennessee and South Carolina currently on probation?
Read my previous posts (touching on every violation they've skated on in year's past), this has EVERYTHING TO DO WITH *ubarn AND NOT THE SEC!
*ubarn has officially made our once proud conference the most hated conference in America and this is EXACTLY WHY they should be kicked out ASAP.
