Only 2nd least? Somebody better get their shite together. Bammer is contractually entitled to be the least penalized team every year.

What's hilarious is that Florida doesn't have a bench unsportsmanlike for Muschamp yet. It's coming! I'd be surprised if he doesn't get ejected from a game by the end of the year

15 penalties over 5 games? that's a joke.

Ever notice how Saban hovers all over the refs during a game...HE WORKS THEM BETTER THAN ANYBODY...
Posted on 10/7/11 at 9:19 am to Alahunter
No shite. When Saban was at LSU his teams were the most penalized in the conference. Now that he's at Alabama, I wonder why?

Link?
Here you go:
NCAA Team Statistics Archive
Below are the rankings for "Least Penalized Team". The numbers speak for themselves. I don't blame Bama fans, but just stop pretending that SEC refs don't favor Saban's Bama teams.
Year Team Conference National
2000 LSU-----8-----67
2001 LSU-----4-----34
2002 LSU-----6-----66
2003 LSU-----9-----82
2004 LSU-----5-----40
5yr average rnk--6.4---57.8
2007 ALABAMA-----1-----5
2008 ALABAMA-----1-----5
2009 ALABAMA-----3-----17
2010 ALABAMA-----1-----24
2011 ALABAMA-----1-----2
5yr average rnk-----1.4-----10.6
Now STFU!

Oh yeah... he must have really learned that since going to Bama though, because his Michigan State and LSU teams were among the MOST penalized teams.
:waitingwhilegumpsdoresearchandtrytotwistfacts:
Yeah, he also won national championships every year at those schools.

Check the post right above yours, and click the link. And what does winning the "national championship" at LSU or Michigan State have to do with SEC refs being biased toward Bama since Saban has been there?

Yeah, being in the top half of the FBS in fewest penalties definitely makes them one of the MOST penalized reams.

Yes, because he won 1 at LSU and 1 at Bama. But, wanna know how I know SEC refs are in Bama's pocket?

Wouldn't be shocked. Muschamp acts like a punk most of the time.

What am I crying about? LSU beat Bama last year. Use that on somebody y'all actually beat. I was not going to post those stats, but now y'all bastards are starting threads BRAGGING about getting so few penalties. Again, I'm not blaming Bama fans or Saban for this... just the cheating SEC officials.

You made a statement and claimed it to be fact and then disproved it yourself by posting the actual facts. Looked like he was average in the penalty department at LSU. Almost dead center even.

Wanna know how I know you're dumb?
Yep
He didnt win national championships every year at either school and didn't win one at all at Mich St. My whole point was that I could say anything on a message board and say it's a fact just like you said LSU was one of the most penalized schools under Saban and said it was a fact and yet, it was not.

Because they confess it to you during pillow talk?
Eta: love how you finally realized your frickup and went back and edited.

I guess logic has no place in this argument but you would think the amount of penalties by a Saban coached team would be relatively consistent especially by say his 3rd year at each school not such a marked difference.
Not to mention Bama is historically one of the least penalized teams in the SEC whether its a good year, bad year or mediocre one.
You really dont think the whole SEC office in Bama and the head of SEC officials being a BAMA grad has nothing to do with it?
Again dont let logic and statistics cloud your judgement!

Thanks for the info, makes me sick. But I bet Bammer is so good, they don't make mistakes.
