Yeah, seriously doubt Petrino bounces...I think he's got a good thing going at Arky.

I really wish there were more elite level coaches out there who are obtainable for A&M because I honestly think the job after this season is as attractive as its ever been.

What's Sweeney's deal at Clemson? I consider them at about on par with A&M(traditionally) save not having quite the money, the geographic recruiting advantage, or the SEC.

I know he's a Bama guy, love his energy....and damn, he had a hell of an '11 recruiting class. Wonder if he could be legit target assuming they win the ACC?

Really? They've won bigger, and more recently than A&M (6 conference titles and a MNC in the last 30 years), and they sit in a shockingly fertile area for recruiting the best talent out there. South Carolina based talent is not to be dismissed-- at one point, they had the 9th most NFL players of any state-- despite being a distant 24th in population. It may not be Texas or Florida, but it was among the best NFL players per-person rates anywhere.

Dabbo is going to be SOL if he's waiting on the Alabama job to come open, though. I guess he's one of the guys you could try to persuade with a big money offer.

mediocre coach who is finally doing something this year. However, one can argue his success is the result of his OC Chad Morris. Morris is one of the best and brightest OC's in the entire country.
