exactly
but like the aggies said, they aren't even consider firing Sherman for another 3 seasons, so discussing buyouts and blah blah blah is pointless
I was just curious what level of names people would throw out there for a potential Aggie job. Personally, I think Petrino is too big a name for A&M

I kind of chuckled earlier at how quickly Paul Petrino was shrugged off, but he's done a bang up job at Illinois; those Florida fans out there should tell you how damned near impossible it is to make a Zook team look competent offensively. If Illinois kept up their dark horse run towards a Big Ten title, Paul would be the kind of guy that would be looking to make a splash as a potential HC at a mid level BCS program, or slightly above mid level.

Don't
me fella.....You are the one discussing ways to avoid the buyout.
I'm sure you'd love to see CBP leave Arkansas.....

Why?
Arkansas is a nice program, but what is their ceiling? (Yes, I know they have a solid lead in the heads up record with A&M.)
Why does A&M almost perennially out recruit Arky? Ya, they get some good players, and A&M does lose some kids to them with A&M offers, but not that often.
I can think of five 2012 kids that A&M has committed with Arky offers...Don't believe Arky has one with an A&M offer (they do have a 2013 commit with one though). But at least 3 of our 2013 kids be offered by them.
FWIW I don't want Petrino. Just saying that even with a down A&M program, you can still get better players (using the objective measure of rankings for guys coming out of HS).
