Chinese, I've never seen that happen. Nobody turns around to pass back a sign. You just hold it above your head.
And the yells are during TV timeouts mainly. There are maybe 10 yells a game now with the new Jumbotron. Not like when I was in school and we did 50 a game it seemed.
We really just yell a lot when the other team is on offense

I've never personally been because I'm at the bar, but yes. 20,000 strong show up for Midnight Yell and I think it's pretty fricking badass that we get that support.
We take every recruit to Midnight Yell as well and they like it also
And FTR, chicks eat that shite up. Lots of first dates are at midnight yell.

son, don't you know anything about flasks? are you a rookie at this or something? since no college football stadium can sell alcohol, except maybe UH, how else do you drink during the game? wake up kid

Don't forget WVU. LSU doubled their beer sales when they were in town.

Girls at USCe with "COCKS" tattoos on their forehead, cheeks, etc. trumps barking UGA girls...

Ole Miss Grove with the "tailgates" containing table centerpieces, proper table cloths and place settings. Lame.
I have no problem with the Grove.

It's a trap!

um, yes, we have flasks
we just dont consider CHEER PRACTICE on friday night a football game. Sure you could bring a flask to cheer practice, but why would anyone who is in college spend their friday night at Cheer Practice?

you do realize this is only about 6-7 nights the entire year, don't you, and it's not even very long. but go ahead and believe what you want. you're obviously not very smart to understand anyways.

Say what you will about the Aggie cadets, but many of my friends who were in the Corps with me are downrange right now. That's about as real as it gets.
Texas A&M and LSU both have a strong military past. The schools that sent more officers to WWII were West Point, Annapolis, LSU, and A&M. LSU has mostly diverged from its military background. A&M still is proudly rooted in it. I have no problem with that.

As for the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band, they usually get standing ovations from opposing teams' fans on road trips. They're unique, whether you appreciate military style marching or not.
My guess is that the ovations are relative to post-9/11 patriotism. I remember the A&M band in Tiger Stadium back in the day. They marched back and forth on the field playing military marches. I was not impressed, but I still respect the tradition.

Wait, Are the Texas A&M "cadets" actually affiliated with the US Military?
No - LSU students did the same back in the day.

That's why before every yell, the Yell Leaders initiate what's called the "pass back."
Why not just call it a "reach around"?

did I see the Little Ceasers guy in that video?

Larry, did an Aggie frick your wife or something? That's like almost 20 pages of you having a slightly unhealthy obsession with bashing A&M's traditions.
Yes, some of our traditions are weird. But we are proud of the fact that we are not exactly the same as every other college in America. And I will put our passion and the decibel level of our stadium up against any SEC school. That's why we are happy to be in the SEC, where everyone is as crazy about football as we are...albeit in our own "unique" way.
